The Capture Center Supervisor is primarily responsible for leading a production team and ensuring production goals in alignment with defined standards, customer specifications, and Service Level Agreements (SLA). This responsibility includes operational performance metrics for contractual quality, turnaround, and other key metrics to support multiple lines of business, which are included in Symbeo product and service offerings. This leader is a champion of change, challenges everyone to their personal best, and develops a high-performing culture. This leader works cross functionally across the organization with other leaders and departments to improve our service delivery. Additionally, this role defines the training plans required for employees and maintains resource plans to appropriately deliver against deadlines during cyclical periods, volume fluctuations, and peak timeframes.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES:
This role provides general supervision to a functional area, which may include supervision of non-exempt employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable state and federal laws. Responsibilities include providing leadership to employees, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing feedback and resolving problems.

This is an onsite position in our Milwaukie, OR office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Service Delivery - Supervise production workflow in the Capture Center to ensure quality and quantity expectations are achieved and deadlines and SLAs are met. Take proactive action when there are risks to quality and deadline expectations, including communicating to other internal and external departments for help and resolution. Analyze production processes, identify resource constraints or bottlenecks, and implement creative solutions to optimize workflow. Hold the team accountable for established deadlines and reallocating resources as needed to meet priorities.
  • Teamwork – Gives and welcomes feedback; supports everyone's efforts to succeed. Work with other leaders including Managers, peers, and Team Leads to identify capacity needs, depth of coverage, and training, and partner with certified trainers to implement training plans.
  • Problem Resolution - Research and audit quality concerns based on internal best practices, including delegating or escalating, as appropriate.
  • Training - Ensure documentation for process changes or to deliver an improved employee experience (EX) with existing training materials. Provide regular feedback to trainers on the efficacy of training materials and dynamic production needs.
  • Continuous Improvement - Identify concerns or areas of continuous improvement to proactively collaborate and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Collaboration - Support other areas of the team by asking relevant questions and leaning in where you have expertise.
  • Quality - Successfully execute and measure against key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine optimal operational performance. Maintain exceptional quality standards throughout production processes with a relentless commitment to ensuring every outcome exceeds defined service levels.
  • Leadership - Coach and mentor employees, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Empower the team to reach their full potential and celebrate milestone achievements with each win. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • A proven track record of exceeding production targets while maintaining exceptional quality standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills
  • Exercise the ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to risk management to resolve production constraints
  • Coach employees with a collaborative style of leadership to connect and empower teams on a more impactful level
  • 55 wpm by touch, ten-key by touch
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally, including over the phone with internal and external customers
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisor role (or relevant leadership experience) including capacity planning, resource management, and successful execution of team goals
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent with equivalent experience. College coursework preferred.

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $18.36 - $29.63 per hour
