The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois... Wabash River at Montezuma. Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site. Wabash River at Riverton. .Recent rainfall has brought Montezuma back above flood stage this morning with Hutsonville and Riverton also expected to rise above flood stage on Tuesday. Numerous rain showers are expected today before dry weather returns for Tuesday and Wednesday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site. * WHEN...From Tuesday afternoon to late Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Old Darwin Road and a few low rural roads between York and Hutsonville, Illinois begin to flood. Agricultural flooding begins along portions of the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to 17.0 feet Thursday morning. It will then fall early Thursday afternoon. It will rise to 17.0 feet Friday evening.
