* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following county, Montgomery. * WHEN...Until 645 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 609 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Connellys Run, Crab Creek, Brush Creek, Georges Run, Little River, Elliott Creek and Eckels Branch. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Christiansburg... Pilot...
