An elderly Boston woman pulled from her burning home by firefighters has died. A spokesman for the Boston Fire Department says firefighters arrived at the womans Dorchester home just after 6 a.m. Thursday to find smoke.
They found the woman inside on the bottom floor of the two-story, single-family home and took her out to be attended by emergency medical technicians. She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her name and exact age were not immediately made public.
