A Bainbridge businessman and his employee have been arrested for insurance fraud. James Leroy Ward, 63, and Anthony Bryan Hall, 44, have been charged with one count of insurance fraud in connection with damage to a motor home in May 2012. The warrants were executed on July 28. According to arrest warrants, Ward, who owns Jimmy Auto Sales, located at 1902 Dothan Road, Bainbridge, conspired with Hall to intentionally cause damage to a 2012 Heartland 5th Wheel.
Both Ward and Hall have been released from the Decatur County Jail on bond, according to Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens.
Insurance fraud is a felony and carries a penalty of one to five years in prison and/or a fine of up to $5,000.
