2011 Super Bowl lawsuit over falling ice and snow going to trial

The lawsuit of a 2011 Super Bowl worker injured by ice and snow falling from AT&T Stadium is scheduled to finally go to trial in Dallas County this week. The lawyer for halftime show worker Severin Sampson said testimony beginning Tuesday will show that the Dallas Cowboys and stadium architects HKS didn’t consider the implications of ice and snow that could fall following freezing weather. The suit would be the first related to Super Bowl XLV to go to trial.
