Baby Food Recalled For Potential Glass Fragments

Beech-Nut has recalled 1,920 pounds of baby food that may be contaminated with small pieces of glass, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).The recall affects four-ounce glass jars labeled “Stage 2 Beech-Nut CLASSICS sweet potato & chicken” that were produced on Dec. 12, 2014 and which were shipped to retail locations “nationwide,” according to a USDA news release. The recalled jars show the establishment number “P-68A” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
