Authorities are investigating the fall of a teenage boy from a Ferris wheel in suburban Phoenix. Police say the 14-year-old boy was at the El Mirage Fall Festival on Saturday night and fell between 15 and 30 feet from the ride.
The boy was airlifted to Phoenix Childrens Hospital and was conscious when emergency responders transported him.
El Mirage police Sgt. Robert Peoples said Sunday that the boy was still hospitalized, but his injuries are considered non- life-threatening.
