Car Collides With School Bus In Houston

A school bus and car collided Friday morning in south Houston. The collision happened about 7 a.m. on Tierwester near Mainer, according to the Houston Fire Department. Officials said 22 students, ages 5 to 13 years old, were on the bus at the time of the crash. None were taken to a hospital but HFD medical personnel evaluated seven of them at the scene. The driver of the car and and the bus driver were taken to an area hospital. The car diver likely had minor injuries. Details of the bus driver’s possible injuries and condition were not released.
