Connecticut Pilot Survives His Small Airplane Crash

Injuries have been reported after a small aircraft crashed in the area of East Lebanon Turnpike and Church Street. Crews responded to the scene of the incident around noon and are currently investigating. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, a Quicksilver GT 400 light-sport aircraft was the type of aircraft that crashed. Police said Anthony Vespia was the pilot of the aircraft and had to be extricated. He was the only one in the aircraft.
