A driver was killed while hauling a load of plywood in KCK Tuesday morning. The wreck happened about 8:30 a.m. on Kaw Drive at 78th Street. The streets were wet and the temperature was below freezing. The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. They say the driver tried to stop on Kaw Drive heading west, but the load of plywood shifted, crushing the cab. Authorities are investigating whether another vehicle cut the man off, causing him to stop suddenly or slide.
