Florida Line Worker Electrocuted In Bucket

A subcontractor working for Florida Power and Light was electrocuted just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon on the 3200 block of South Tropical Trail on Merritt Island, according to Brevard County Fire Rescue District Chief Darron Murray. Murray added that the worker was on scene replacing electrical poles and that the victim was in a "bucket" working when he was electrocuted. When Brevard County Fire Rescue workers had arrived on scene, co-workers had removed him from the bucket and had attempted to resuscitate him.
