Florida Residents Grapple With Flooding From Anclote River

The Anclote River was still swollen from the weekend deluge, Elfers Parkway was still under a foot of water and many residents were still defying the evacuation order that affected 320 homes on Monday. And Pasco County officials continued to urge caution: The rain and flooding isn’t done yet. "It’s been a tough weekend," Pasco County Emergency Management director Annette Doying said. "We realize there’s a lot of people who continue to get distressed." The river remained at 23 feet on Monday due to an additional 2 to 3 inches of rainfall, according to WTSP 10Weather meteorologist Ashley Batey.
