Meriden, Conn. golf course restaurant fire called arson

Police are investigating an arson at a popular restaurant in Meriden early Monday morning and released a video of the incident to locate a man connected to the fire. Firefighters were called to the Hunter Golf Course on Westfield Road around 3 a.m. to find flames coming from the area of the building that holds Violi’s Restaurant. Police released surveillance video from an exterior camera that they said captured a "person of interest." They said the footage showed a man carrying what could be a gas can in his hand along with another item.
