A longshoreman from Castleton Corners admitted Wednesday to participating in an oxycodone conspiracy involving other dock workers, a Staten Island doctor and a New Jersey pharmacy. Christopher Galasso, 29, was among nine defendants arrested in December in the complicated plot, which involved Workers Compensation fraud and insurance fraud, said authorities. Over four years, a doctor and chiropractor sold some 1.8 million oxycodone pills to longshoremen on Staten Island and in Brooklyn and other people, authorities said.
