Several areas of flooding are being reported in the metro area in the wake of powerful storms passing through Wednesday afternoon. Denver Police reported flooded streets in the area along from Stapleton Drive from Monaco to Grape Street, and vehicles are reportedly stuck in the water there. Denver Parks and Recreation also reported that both the Cherry Creek and Platte River trails are inaccessible because of the flood waters. 7NEWS found flooding in the area of Alameda and Kalamath, and hail floating in the water near Iowa and Santa Fe.
