The Rolling Stones have settled a multimillion-pound dispute with insurers over shows cancelled following the death of Sir Mick Jagger’s girlfriend L’Wren Scott. The Stones are believed to have taken out a £15m insurance policy in case of any shows being cancelled due to the death of family members. When the fashion designer committed suicide earlier this year, insurance underwriters contested their liability to meet the £7.9m incurred from the shows called off in Australia and New Zealand.
