Seat Belts Not In Use During Fatal Kansas Rollover

A Miltonvale man and his daughter were killed in a rollover wreck in Clay Co. late Wednesday morning. His wife and grandson were also hurt in the crash. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol crash report, 69 year-old Eldon Hartley was heading east on U-24 around 10:15 a.m. when his SUV went off the right shoulder of the roadway. He managed to get the 1998 Ford Explorer back onto the road briefly before it went back into the ditch and rolled several times.
