Six People Arrested for Fla. Insurance Fraud

What looked like a car accident in Calhoun County, turned into a plot to fraud an insurance company.
Sheriff’s deputies say Rodney A. Bottoms, 45, Donna J. Bottoms, 70, Talisha D. Gonzales, 26, Pamala M. Mayo, 45, Anthony A. Polly, 32, and Amber L. Sirmans, 28, were accused of making a fraudulent claim to an insurance company. The investigation started back in September of 2013, when the suspects reportedly staged a crash. The Florida Department of Insurance and The State Fire Marshall were involved in the investigation.
