Suit Over State Farm’s Auto Repair Practices To Be Tried In Louisiana

When Louisiana sued State Farm last year for engaging in "unsafe and deceptive" auto repair practices, the state wasn’t alone in taking those types of allegations to court. Over Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell’s objection, the suit had been moved to federal court in Orlando to consolidate with similar cases. But on Wednesday (Aug. 19), state Caldwell’s office announced the litigation would move back to Louisiana courts.
