Suspicious Fire Destroys Classic Cars at Florida Dealership

Authorities said a suspicious fire destroyed an estimated $1 million at a South Florida dealership that sells classic, antique cars. The fire broke out at about 4 a.m. Thursday at South Beach Classics along Northwest Seventh Avenue and 83rd Street. Investigators said several dozen classic cars were either destroyed by fire or sustained major smoke damage. "We’re looking at well over a dozen and we’re looking at classic vehicles," said Ray Jadallah of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. "A lot of damage sustained by fire and smoke, including the property, and we’re looking at close to $1 million in damage."
