Texas insurance commissioner to step down

Mike Geeslin, commissioner of the Texas Department of Insurance, said he plans to step down next month. In a letter sent Wednesday to Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Mr. Geeslin said he would not seek reappointment after his term ends Feb. 1.
