Truck Crashes into East Los Angeles Gas Station

A box truck exited the 5 Freeway in East LA Tuesday evening and crashed into a gas station convenience store. The box truck drove into the shop of the Arco gas station in the 3900 block of Dennison St. just after 5 p.m. An employee of the gas stations told NBC4 the truck was speeding off the freeway moments before it struck the building. The truck driver suffered minor injuries, Los Angeles County Fire officials said. No one else was injured.
