A fire on the west end of Jackson has heavily damaged six businesses in a strip mall building but no one was hurt. The fire occurred about 2 a.m. Sunday in a largely commercial area along the towns main thoroughfare but well outside the historic downtown area. Town spokeswoman Charlotte Reynolds says the damaged businesses included two restaurants, a gun shop, an engraving business and a laundry. Reynolds says a nearby apartment building and The Lodge at Jackson Hole were temporarily evacuated but were not damaged by the fire.
