$60M Lawsuit Filed For Breach Of Contract

The owners of an Indian Hill mansion that burned to the ground last year are suing their insurance company for almost $60 million, according to court documents. Homeowners Jeffrey and Maria Decker filed the lawsuit earlier this month, stating in court documents Chubb National Insurance Co. failed to honor the couple’s insurance claims "without reasonable justification," resulting in a breach of contract. Their claims were based on damages caused by the 2014 fire, which they say were covered in their insurance policy with the company.
