6-Alarm Fire Jumps to Multiple Homes in East Boston

Fire crews responded to a six-alarm blaze in East Boston Wednesday. The fire broke out after 8:30 a.m. in the rear of 102 Webster Street and 309 Sumner Street. Boston fire officials said multiple homes in the neighborhood were on fire. The Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts reported on Twitter that firefighters were ordered out of one building involved in the fire. Boston fire officials said there were no reported injuries.
