At the 2024 RISKWORLD conference held in San Diego, Adrian Pellen, the Managing Director & Co-Leader of the North American Construction & Infrastructure Group at NFP, shared insights on the evolving landscape of construction and infrastructure insurance. Pellen also pointed out the shifting dynamics of risk sharing in mega projects, where risk is increasingly distributed among contractors, owners, and other stakeholders through mechanisms like surety bonds and subcontractor default insurance.
