More Than A Thousand Tons Of P.F. Chang’s Frozen Meals Recalled

Over two million pounds of P.F. Chang’s frozen meals have been recalled due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced Saturday. The recall will affect P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Fried Rice. The USDA’s food safety and inspection service announced that the products contained milk, "a known allergen," which was not declared on their product labels. Conagra Brands Inc., which produces the P.F. Chang’s frozen foods, discovered the mislabeling when it was conducting a "routine label verification check," according to the USDA.
