Localized Dense Fog Lingering Into The First Part of This Afternoon... Through at least 1 or 2 PM, widespread light fog will persist across much of south central and central Nebraska and north central Kansas, with at least localized, patchy dense fog and freezing fog still reducing visibility to around 1/4 mile, and possibly causing slick spots on untreated roads and sidewalks. Given that the coverage of truly dense fog is becoming increasingly-limited across the area as a whole, the Dense Fog Advisory will not be extended into the afternoon hours. However, please use caution if encountering any lingering dense fog this afternoon, including using your headlights and leaving plenty of distance ahead of you.
