The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for low relative humidity and gusty winds, which is
in effect Monday afternoon through early Monday evening.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 209 Loup Rivers Basin.
* TIMING...Monday 1 PM CDT to 7 PM CDT
* WINDS...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 14 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...Low to middle 70s.
* LIGHTNING...Not expected.
* IMPACTS...Any fire start will be capable of spreading rapidly
and becoming very difficult to control.
