At 1043 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles east of Hayes Center to Wauneta. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Hayes Center, Hamlet, Marengo, and Hayes Center State Wildlife Management Area.
