At 502 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southwest of Stockville, or 12 miles south of Curtis, moving
northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Curtis, Moorefield, Stockville, Quick, Bluegill Haven Campground,
Willow View Campground, Red Willow Reservoir State Recreation Area,
and Dancing Leaf Earth Lodge.
This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 27 and 36.
