The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida... Suwannee River at Luraville (SR 51) affecting Lafayette and Suwannee Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and forecast to continue. * WHERE...Suwannee River at Luraville (SR 51). * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, River begins coming out of channel banks inundating low lying bottomlands. NW Harlie Lynch Road, NW Riverbank Road, and the Blue Springs State Park begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM EDT Friday the stage was 35.4 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM EDT Friday was 36.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling to 29.6 feet Friday, May 03. - Flood stage is 35.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 33.8 feet on 04/11/2016. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
