At 1008 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Kellogg, or 8 miles east of Newton, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near... Rock Creek Lake, Oakland Acres, and Rock Creek State Park around 1015 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Kellogg, Oakland Acres, and Rock Creek State Park. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 170 and 178.
