The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Florida... Suwannee River at Branford (US 27) affecting Lafayette and Suwannee Counties. Suwannee River near Manatee Springs affecting Levy and Dixie Counties. Suwannee River at Rock Bluff near Bell (CR 340) affecting Lafayette, Gilchrist and Dixie Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Suwannee River at Branford (US 27). * WHEN...Until Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 25.3 feet, The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission begins enforcement of a no wake zone from the SR-51 bridge at Luraville to the Little River Spring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 25.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM EDT Sunday was 25.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow evening and continue falling to 20.7 feet by Sunday, May 05. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 25.7 feet on 04/20/1937. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
