Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following
counties, Broward and Miami-Dade.
* WHEN...Until 600 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 408 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Hollywood, Miramar, Davie, Hallandale, Miami Gardens, North
Miami, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Dania Beach, Sunny Isles
Beach, West Park, Ojus, Oak Point, Estates Of Fort
Lauderdale, Ravenswood Estates, Chambers Estates, Golden
Glades, Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport,
Pembroke Park and Golden Beach.
