Richland and Calhoun Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Congaree River at Carolina Eastman.
* WHEN...From late tonight to Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 115.0 feet, Flooding occurs in low lying areas of the
Carolina Eastman Facility and at the Congaree National Park.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:52 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 112.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 114.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 116.2 feet tomorrow
evening. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday
afternoon.
