River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Cuivre River near Troy.
* WHEN...From late tonight to Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 23.1 feet, Water begins covering Frenchman Bluff Road
(County Road 658) just west of the Cuivre River bridge.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 15.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 22.0 feet tomorrow
morning. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow
morning.
- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
