Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...
Wildcat Creek near Lafayette.
Wabash River at Lafayette.
.Rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches across north central Indiana
Tuesday into early Wednesday has caused rises along Wildcat Creek
and the Wabash River near Lafayette.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wabash River at Lafayette.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Nuisance flooding of a couple of low
agricultural fields begins in far western part of Tippecanoe
County.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 8.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this afternoon to a crest of 11.3 feet this evening. It will
then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
