For the Pawcatuck River...including Wood River Junction, Westerly... Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pawcatuck River at Westerly. * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs along the Pawcatuck River. Along Route 3 in Hopkinton, floodwaters encroach on lowest lying homes in French Village. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 7.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM EDT Saturday was 7.1 feet. - Forecast...The river will oscillate around flood stage with a maximum value of 7.0 feet late this evening. - Flood stage is 7.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
