The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Illinois...
White River at Petersburg and Hazleton.
Wabash River from Hutsonville to Mount Carmel.
.Petersburg and Hazleton on the lower White River will continue to
flood through the week and fall below flood stage Saturday. On the
Wabash, Mount Carmel will be the last location to fall below flood
stage, and will do so on Sunday.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wabash River at Vincennes.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Agricultural lands and some oil fields
flood. Several township roads about 1.25 miles south of St.
Francesville and River Road between Billett Road and Lincoln
Memorial Bridge in Lawrence County are flooded. Extensive
flooding of Kimmell Park at Vincennes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM EDT Tuesday /9:45 AM CDT Tuesday/ the stage was
17.8 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 AM EDT Tuesday /9:45 AM CDT Tuesday/ was 18.9
feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow morning and continue falling and remain below flood
stage.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
